Brief Introduction of Department of Finance and economics

Department of Finance and economics was established in 2001, currently it consists accounting, computerized accounting, financial management , the three junior educations and computerized accounting profession, the secondary education. Accounting profession is the key disciplines in school level, the "Financial Accounting", "Basic Accounting", "Financial Statement Analysis" three courses were assessed as the provincial "excellent course" in 2008, 2009, 2010 by the provincial education department. There are nearly 1,100 Students in the department.

Department of Finance and economics has a reasonable structure, comprehensive high-quality teacher team. There are  37 full-time teachers and teaching management personnel people, of which 3 professors, 7 associate professors, 20 lecturers, 7 graduate students, 1 certified public accountant, 4 accountants , 1 lawyer, and  of which 85 % are "double-professionally-titled" teachers. There are fourteen accounting profession training rooms, they are  accounting simulation laboratory, accounting manual simulation training room, computerized accounting training room, training room simulation jobs, marketing training supermarkets, meeting existing specialized laboratories training requirements. In teaching, outstanding professional features, focus on students' practical ability to take on the work process of the "Double Certificates" training mode.

Brief Introduction

I. Accounting profession (academic year –three years, two and a half in school, six months internship)

Training objectives: the professional is to develop students moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, labor-round, to master basic accounting theory and professional knowledge, focusing on the cultivation of students' practical work, highlighting the practical, integrated and applied, training with a solid theoretical knowledge , hands-on ability, innovative spirit and practical ability; able to engage in financial accounting and management of high-skilled personnel.

Main courses: basical accounting, the primary financial accounting, intermediate financial accounting, financial regulations, Law Foundation, cost accounting, management accounting, financial statement analysis, accounting system design, simulation and other accounting

Employment orientation: all enterprises, administrative units, engaged cashier, accounting, internal audit; well as in accounting firms, auditing firms, asset appraisal firms engaged in social auditing, and other intermediary services.

II. Accounting profession (certified public accountant) (academic year –three years, two and a half in school, six months internship)

Training objectives: In order to adapt to social and economic development, the profession is to cultivate the personnel of with a professional thick foundation, practical ability, comprehensive high-quality, innovative spirit and lifelong learning, all-round development, for future engagements, senior financial management laid a solid foundation. Competent accounting and auditing as well as adjacent to the work of high skilled professional accounting expertise.

Main courses: basic accounting, the primary financial accounting, intermediate financial accounting, advanced financial accounting, tax law, economic law, auditing practices, financial management, accounting system design, cost accounting, accounting simulation, etc.

Employment orientation: SMEs, financial institutions, public institutions and government departments engaged in the cashier, accounting, auditing and other financial operations

III.Computerized accounting professional (academic years-three years, two and a half in school, six months internship)

Training objectives: to SMEs, non-profit organizations and social intermediary organizations cashier jobs, accounting jobs, accounting management positions, financial management and accounting oversight job positions, training with the appropriate professional competence and have good professional ethics and sustainable development adapt to the socialist market economic development, local economic development services of high skilled accounting professionals.

Main courses: basic accounting, computerized accounting, Law Foundation, the primary financial accounting, cost accounting, financial statement analysis, financial management, accounting simulation experiments.

Employment orientation: for the main professional positions: industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions, public institutions and government departments accounting and financial management. Secondary career-oriented jobs: accounting firms, auditors, accounting agents, agencies, tax and management consulting firms and other departments engaged in audit and audit work and other administrative work.

IV. Financial management profession (academic years—three years, two and a half in school, six months internship)

Employment orientation: After graduation, students are mainly in small and medium enterprises, institutions, government, financial sector in finance and financial management work, but also in the financial, securities, accountants, tax accountants, and other intermediary institutions engaged in intermediary services.
